Monday through Thursday
Monday through Thursday are devoted to instruction, but not the instruction you are used to seeing. The Institute for Creative Learners is at the forefront of education. We scour the latest research to find what will work best for our kids and best prepare them for the future.
To the extent possible, all subjects include multisensory instruction, blended learning, project based learning, and our reading instruction is based on the the Scottish Rite developed "Take Flight" program. Our Pre-K and Kindergarten programs are particularly Reggio Inspired!

Reggio Inspired
Reggio Inspired Teaching respects the child as a learner and as a person. Using this teaching method, the child’s own curiosity and interests are the guiding lights for the planning and implementation of curriculum. The classroom is seen as a third teacher – along with the parent and the classroom teacher - so the materials, décor and furniture are geared for a natural feeling environment for comfort and support, not distraction. Documentation of learning is by observation, recordings (visual and auditory) and anecdotal notes of children’s conversations with each other as well as with teachers. Students are given the opportunity to use their own thinking skills and problem solving, young students come to their own conclusions without being fed answers by teachers. Guidance and questioning as well as observations of subject matter are used to help students discover answers.

FRIDAYS!!
Your child will love Fridays at Creative Learners. In addition to regular instruction, Fridays are devoted to field trips, enrichment, special projects, and extra help when needed.
